With over 25 years of theoretical research experience, he has significantly contributed to fields like Free-Electron Lasers, Laser-Plasma Interaction, and Quantum Plasma. His work spans ion-channel guiding, wakefield acceleration, harmonic generation, and parametric instabilities. Dr. Kumar collaborates internationally, including with Russian teams on PIC simulations for gamma-ray generation and German groups on quantum plasma. He is pioneering studies on turbulence using quantum electrodynamics and introducing a mixed Kappa distribution for Fermion-Boson systems. A prolific author with 12 books and 200+ articles, he excels in Plasma Physics. He has received 24 awards and leads cutting-edge research in quantum and semiconductor plasmas.
