About the author
Mani Venkatesh is Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba, Canada. He has over 24 years of academic and industry experience, including senior roles in Fortune 500 firms. Previously, he was Associate Professor at Montpellier Business School, France, and has taught at ISCTE Lisbon, IIM Bodhgaya, TAPMI India, and University of Porto. He earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). His research focuses on digital transformation, global supply chains, sustainability, and modern slavery in emerging economies. He has published in top journals including Harvard Business Review, IJOPM, IJPE, IJPR, SCMIJ, and JBR. He has edited special issues in Annals of Operations Research and IJPDLM, and serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Global Information Management.
Srimantoorao S. Appadoo is Head of the Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of Manitoba, Canada. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses and is a prolific researcher with over 150 publications in top international journals, including EJOR, AOR, IJPE, and Information Sciences. His work spans interdisciplinary collaborations with over 50 researchers worldwide and is widely cited globally. He co-authored the book More-for-Less Solutions in Fuzzy Transportation Problems and is funded by the NSERC Discovery Grant. His research has been featured among Elsevier’s ‘Top 25 Hottest Articles.’ Professor Appadoo has received multiple awards for research excellence and best papers. As an educator, he is highly rated by students and actively contributes to university and professional committees. His efforts were instrumental in launching the PhD program in SCM at Asper School of Business.
Mustafa Rehman Khan is a seasoned academician and prolific researcher specializing in sustainable business practices, supply chain management, green innovation, and digital transformation. He is currently affiliated with UCSI University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Dr. Khan holds a Ph.D. in Business Management (Supply Chain) from Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), Malaysia. He has published extensively in prestigious international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, Management of Environmental Quality: An International Journal, International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management, and Management Decision. Dr. Khan has co-edited academic volumes with renowned publishers such as Springer and IGI Global and serves on the editorial boards of PLOS ONE, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, and Journal of Asia Business Studies.
