About the author

Julian Stern is Professor of Education and Religion at Bishop Grosseteste University, UK. He is President of ISRS: the International Society for Research on Solitude.Dat Bao lectures in the Faculty of Education, Monash University, Australia and has worked closely with universities in the US, the UK, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.Axel Seemann is Professor and Chair in the Department of Philosophy at Bentley University, USA. His work is mainly in the philosophy of mind, with a particular focus on its social dimension. He has published several papers as well as co-edited a special issue for the interdisciplinary philosophy journal Topoi on the topic of loneliness.Malgorzata Walejko is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Pedagogy at the University of Szczecin, Poland.
