About the author

After completing her degree in psychology at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, Sumeyra Ozcan worked as an editor for several children's publications. Her research interest in the field led her to study in the Communication and Media Research Department at Johannes Gutenberg University. After years of research and experience in the field, she moved to North America. Sumeyra is working as a senior editor of the Atlasia Kids Magazine. Karen Tuba, with over six years of experience as an illustrator, initially studied fashion design before shifting her focus to illustration. Over the years, she has worked with multiple publishers and currently offers online illustration classes for children and young adults.
