About the author

Dr. Bobbie Chew Bigby (Cherokee) is a scholar of Indigenous-led tourism and is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Waterloo. Part of her doctoral research focused on collaborating with the Palmer family to document Indian City USA history. This book is an important outcome of that collaboration. Randy Palmer (Kiowa/Choctaw) is a Kiowa culture bearer, a veteran, and a lifelong member of the Kiowa Black Leggings Warrior Society. Palmer grew up at Indian City USA alongside family and community, where he lived immersed in Kiowa and intertribal ways.
