On the harsh world of Anaranjado, alien refugees and abandoned humans fight for their right to exist. But are they choosing this battle or merely the puppets of mysterious forces with dark agendas?Karl wants nothing more than to settle down with Stefani and help her raise her daughter, Ella. Sporting a new name and looking years older than she should, Marri's sudden reappearance sets off a planet-wide race to discover where she is and what she plans next. Her family is desperate to find her. Anaranjado's shattered government is even more determined to remove her from the board. Marri, however, only answers to a strange, godlike entity. Yet, despite the fact she always seems one step ahead of her pursuers, even she is unaware of the big picture.
