The most futuristic production motorcycle of all time appeared in 1978 and it not only ended old specifications for design and comfort. Kawasaki also ended the power limitation agreement with the Z1 R TC, just as they planned to do with the Z1300. Ross and Ralph Hannan immediately recognized the high potential.
