From city honeybees to street-savvy sparrowhawks, discover over 120 animals, plants and other kinds of wildlife that thrive in the hustle and bustle of urban life. You will learn which animals have adapted to tough city life, what plants can grow in even the tiniest of pavement cracks and how you can make your garden or balcony into a wildlife hotspot! Whether you''re off for a stroll in a city park or on a trip into town, don''t ever leave your RSPB Nature Guide: Urban Wildlife at home! Includes nature spotter tips; activities and crafts to try, and a wildlife checklist so you can tick off everything you spot! With fascinating facts written by Catherine Brereton and stylish illustrations by Kate McLelland throughout, this is the perfect guide for urban wildlife-watchers, young and old.
