About the author

Aicha Adoui is a researcher in the fields of internationalization, and international education, with a focus on the intersection of soft power diplomacy and higher education. With a diverse background in education and communication studies, she brings a unique and interdisciplinary perspective to her research. As an experienced professional trainer and education practitioner, Aicha possesses a strong understanding of the practical applications of her research. Her expertise in intercultural communication, business communication, and oral communication positions her at the forefront of research in communication studies. Aicha's research interests include internationalization, education, technology and intelligent systems, intercultural communication, and international relations. Her work is characterized by a deep commitment to advancing understanding in these fields and to bridging the gap between academia and practice.
Brian Seilstad received his Ph.D. from the Ohio State University's department of Education/Teaching and Learning with a focus on Multicultural and Equity Studies. Currently, he is the director of Internationalization and Partnerships at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco. Prior to this position, he received his M.A. in Classical Languages from Bryn Mawr College, taught high school Greek and Latin, served in the Peace Corps in Morocco, was the deputy director of Youth Service California, and held teaching and leadership positions at Al Akhawayn University and American Academy/College Casablanca. Brian's focus is on linguistic diversity and equity, specifically with respect to refugees/migrants.
