About the author

Prof. Jyoti Choudrie is a professor of Information Systems in Hertfordshire Business School, Management, Leadership, and Organization (MLO) department where she previously led the Systems Management Research Unit (SyMRU) and currently is a convenor for the Global Work, Economy and Digital Inclusion group. She is also an editor-in-chief for Information, Technology & People Journal (An Association of Business School 3 grade journal). In terms of research, Professor Choudrie is known as the Broadband and Digital Inclusion expert at University of Hertfordshire, which was also the case at Brunel University. To ensure her research is widely disseminated, Professor Choudrie co-edited a Routledge research monograph with Prof. C. Middleton: The Management of Broadband Technology Innovation and completed a research monograph published by Routledge Publishing and focused on social inclusion along with Dr. Sherah Kurnia and Dr. Panayiota Tsatsou titled: Social Inclusion and Usability of ICT-Enabled Services.
Dr. Parikshit N. Mahalle is a senior member IEEE and is Professor, Dean Research and Development at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune, India. Prior to this, he worked as a Dean - Research and Development and Head - Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, Pune, India and Professor, Head, Department of Computer Engineering at Sinhgad Institutes. He completed his Ph. D from Aalborg University, Denmark and completed his Post Doctoral Research at CMI, Copenhagen, Denmark. He has 24 years of teaching and research experience. He has 26 patents, 350+ research publications (Google Scholar citations-4000 plus, H index-27 and Scopus Citations are 1950 plus with H index -21, Web of Science citations are 545 with H index - 11) and authored/edited 66 books with Springer, CRC Press, Cambridge University Press, etc. He is editor in chief for IGI Global –International Journal of Rough Sets and Data Analysis, Inder-science International Journal of Grid and Utility Computing, Associate Editor for IGI Global - Journal of Affective Computing and Human Interfaces (JACHI), member-Editorial Review Board for IGI Global – International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence and reviewer for various transactions, journals and conferences of the repute. His research interests are Machine Learning, Data Science, Algorithms, Internet of Things, Identity Management and Security. He is also the recipient of “Best Faculty Award” by Sinhgad Institutes and Cognizant Technologies Solutions, International Level S4DS distinguished Researcher of the Year 2023 and State Level Meritorious Teacher Award. His book on Design and Analysis of algorithms is referred as Textbook in IIITs and NITs and his book on Data Analysis on Pandemic by CRC press has received two international awards in 2020. He is also Certified ISO 27001:2022 Lead Auditor.
Dr. Thinagaran Perumal is the recipient of 2014 Early Career Award from IEEE Consumer Electronics Society for his pioneering contribution in the field of consumer technologies. He completed his PhD at Universiti Putra Malaysia, in the area of smart technology and robotics. He is also currently appointed as Head of Department at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Thina also been elected as Chair of IEEE Consumer Electronics Society Malaysia Chapter. His research interests are towards interoperability aspects of smart homes and Internet of Things (IoT), wearable computing, and cyber-physical systems. Thina is also heading the National Committee on Standardization for IoT (IEC/ISO TC / G/16) as Chairman since 2018. Some of the eminent works include proactive architecture for IoT systems; development of the cognitive IoT frameworks for smart homes and wearable devices for rehabilitation purposes. He is an active member of IEEE Consumer Electronics Society and its Future Directions Committee on Internet of Things. He has published several papers in IEEE Conferences and Journals and is serving as TPC member for several reputed IEEE conferences. He is an active reviewer for IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Communication Magazine, IEEE Sensors Journal, and IEEE Transaction for Automation Science and Engineering, to name a few. He was elected as General Chair for IEEE International Symposium on Consumer Electronics 2017 (ISCE’17) held in Kuala Lumpur. Thina is currently serving as Vice Chair, IEEE CTSoc Technical Committee on Internet of Things and Digital Twin, overseeing some of the society’s technical activities.
Dr. Amit Joshi is Director of the esteemed G R Scholastic LLP, India. His academic journey includes obtaining a B.Tech from Tech in Computer Engineering, Ph.D. in areas of Cloud Computing and further obtaining a Post Doctorate in Market Analysis of International Business from National Taipei University of Business, Taiwan. Enhancing his vision with his rich experience spanning approximately 15 years and realizing the need of globalization in education and business. His active affiliations include esteemed professional societies such as ACM, IEEE, CSI, AMIE, IACSIT Singapore, IDES, ACEEE, NPA, and more. He has presented and authored over 50 papers in reputable national and international journals and conferences, specifically those organized by IEEE and ACM. His editorial contributions include editing over 100 books published by renowned publishers such as Springer, T&F and ACM. He has also organized over 100 national and international conference delegations and workshops in over 20 countries including the USA, Canada, major of Europe, Southeast Asia through various societies and international organizations. He serves as the Director of the Knowledge Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he concentrates on establishing effective relationships among bureaucrats, industry associations, academic leaders, and regulatory authorities to address common research-related issues across sectors. Also, one of his primary focuses also is on building academic collaborations and promoting the 'ZAPAL' initiative, a future-oriented project involving abroad education powered by his profit venture, G R Scholastic LLP. He is also on the Board of Yudiz Solutions Limited as an Independent Director.
