The main objective of our study is to analyze the management of solid and liquid wastes, as well as chemicals, at the LAMOA rolling mill, which specializes in the rolling of flat-iron and angle-iron products. Our research focused on assessing current waste and chemical management practices, and applying the Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) method to procurement. We identified several types of solid and liquid discharges produced by the plant, as well. In addition, we examined chemical storage and handling procedures to prevent any risk to health and the environment. The application of the RPA method enabled us to identify potential hazards associated with supply, and to propose corrective measures to improve risk management. At the end of our study, we formulated recommendations for optimizing the management of waste and chemical products, by reinforcing compliance with environmental and safety standards.
