This book addresses the importance of education in Angola in the face of social changes and the need to adapt the school curriculum to improve the quality of teaching and learning, with a focus on curriculum contextualization. The analysis reveals how the daily curricular practices of teachers in primary-secondary schools reflect the challenges and limitations of current educational policies. The results show that the curriculum does not effectively meet local needs, hindering its implementation and compromising the quality of teaching. The lack of teacher participation in curriculum development limits the adaptation of content to the students' reality, highlighting the urgency of a more contextualized approach aligned with the local context.
