This proceedings book collects contributions from the Internet and Modern Society conference in 2024. Maxim Bakaev. Associate professor of the Novosibirsk State Technical University, Russia. Research interests: Information Society, Digital Health, Artificial Intelligence, Human-Computer Interaction, Interface Design and Usability, Universal Accessibility. Member of the editorial board of the journal “Information Society: Education, Science, Culture and Future Technologies”.
Radomir Bolgov. Associate professor at the School of International Relations, St. Petersburg State University, Russia. His current studies focus on the Internet public discourse and digital policies in post-Soviet countries. Program Committee member of the International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV), International Conference “Internet and Modern Society” (IMS) and many others. Editor of the journal “Vestnik of Saint Petersburg University. International Relations”.
Anna Chizhik, PhD in Cultural Studies, leading analyst of the e-Government Center at ITMO University, senior lecturer of the Department of Information Systems in Arts and Humanities of St. Petersburg State University. Research interests: theory and history of culture, media communication.
Andrei V. Chugunov. Head of the E-Government Center, ITMO University. He co-organizes the International Conference “Internet and Modern Society”. He is a member of the interdepartmental working group on forming an e-government in Russia under the Presidential Council on the Development of Information Society. He has been an active participant in international and national projects designed to develop the technologies of the information society and e-government, as well as communicate the Russian and foreign experience in implementing interactive services to the governmental bodies. He is a member of editorial boards of the journals “Information Society: Education, Science, Culture and Future Technologies” and “Culture and Technology”.
Yury Kabanov. Senior Lecturer at Department of Political Science and International Affairs, Research Fellow of International Laboratory for Digital Transformation in Public Administration, HSE Campus in St. Petersburg, Russia. Professional Interests: Internet politics & Internet policy, E-government & E-democracy. Chair of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference "Digital Transformation in Governance and Society" (DTGS-2024).
Roberto Pereira. Professor, Federal University of Paraná, Brazil. Research interests: Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science Education, Computing in Education. Associate Editor for the Brazilian Journal on Computers in Education. Editor-in-Chief of the Journal on Interactive Systems (JIS). Editor-in-Chief of the Horizontes Magazine.
Elakkiya R., Dr., Assistant Professor, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Research interests: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Deep Learning & Computer Vision, Data Science. She had received many extra-mural funded projects from various government and non-government agencies and she also served as machine learning and data analytics consultant and delivered many products to different industry verticals. She is an Editor of Information Engineering and Applied Computing journal.
Wei Zhang. Associate Professor, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. Research interests: Digital Health Governance, Government Social Media, Health Communication, Health Security. He currently serves as Editorial Board member for Frontiers in Public Health, Frontiers in Psychiatry, and Frontiers in Sociology.
