About the author

Seife Tadelle Kidane Senior research fellow with expertise in African unification, peace and development, citizenship, intra-Africa trade, and indigenous governance system. My passion for African unity and my research background makes me uniquely positioned to undertake this project.
 
Formerly I worked at Ministry of Youth, Sport, and Culture as a senior government advisor, developing ICT, entrepreneurial, and policy strategies. Public diplomate for more than fifteen years, rising to the rank of chief commissioner. I lecturer at private colleges and universities in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, at the University of Pretoria. Former Pan African Youth Movement (PYU) president and African Youth Peace Council president (AYPC). I served on the African Union's and the United Nations' Economic and Social Councils. I served at the Institute of Pan African Thought and Conversation (IPATC), the University of Johannesburg, as a Senior Research Fellow. Currently, I am Adject Professor at Baher Dar University as independent researcher.
