Joe Fordham began his career in the U.K. making award-wining short films, which played on BBC TV, Channel 4 TV, BAFTA/LA and Amazon. He worked in film editing, animation, visual effects, special effects, and creature effects in London and Los Angeles. His writing includes two decades with Cinefex magazine, freelance journalism (Cinefantastique, The Hollywood Reporter, American Cinematographer) and studio-licensed publishing for Titan Books. Recent and upcoming titles include Star Trek: First Contact: The Making of the Classic Film, Star Trek: Picard: The Art and Making of the Series and Alien Film Franchise Encyclopedia.
