The book deals with the issues of organizing the conceptual space of the artistic text. On the material of Chingiz Aitmatov's works the linguistic and cognitive content of the author's world of the writer is analyzed. This world is characterized by its own coceptosphere, the system of key concepts. Theoretical and methodological principles of conceptual analysis of language in general and the language of a work of fiction, in particular, are outlined. The book uses linguocognitive and linguocultural approaches to the definition of concept ontology as a phenomenon of linguistic mentality, which contains our knowledge and ideas about reality. On the other hand, the concept is characterized as a key word of spiritual culture, as a carrier of information about the national picture of the world. The issues of linguistic categorization and conceptualization of reality are considered in the article from the point of view of linguopoetics, and it gives an opportunity to characterize the artistic world of this or that writer comprehensively.
