Futsal in its early days was totally amateur, but FIFA's control of the sport from the 1980s onwards began to change this. It is clear that the practice of futsal has grown a lot over the last few decades, and with it the way it is practised has also evolved. Therefore, 'today's futsal has to approach all the aspects [...] that will contribute to maximising the profitability of futsal practice with a scientific spirit' Oitaven (2007). That's why this book was written with the aim of presenting the results obtained in a quantitative, exploratory, documentary field study with a case study, carried out with ten child and adolescent athletes who study at the Pequeno Príncipe School in the city of Floriano-PI, from October to November 2009, with the aim of inserting and verifying the importance of a new technological tool that helps teach futsal tactical manoeuvres, the Sport Pro 1.0 software. The research believes that this software makes it much easier to teach tactical manoeuvres, especially complex manoeuvres such as game patterns and rehearsed moves.
