Urban Environmental Quality in the Central Beach of Balneário Camboriú - SC - Case studies. DE

Urban Environmental Quality (UQE) is defined as the relationship between environmental quality and the population's quality of life. In this sense, Balneário Camboriú's UAQ has declined in recent years, especially due to rapid and unplanned urbanisation. Therefore, this study sought to analyse the UAQ of Balneário Camboriú's Praia Central region through the perception of the permanent resident population, who feel and experience all the region's strengths and weaknesses on a daily basis.
