It''s time to stand up to ageist stereotypes. This is a book full of wisdom, tips and truths that will inspire anyone who wants their later years to be fulfilling and stress-free. We do not turn into different people in our older age . We become versions of ourselves, shaped by our inevitable mistakes, golden moments, terrible losses and abundant blessings. Nestled in North London is New Ground: a co-housing community made up of twenty-six pioneering older women who have worked tirelessly to redefine what ageing well can look like , and who have created a unique place that allows them to be who they want to be as they continue on their journey. A place to live for . The women of New Ground have made sure they are in charge of their own destiny. Together they have created a blueprint for ageing well - a blueprint we can all follow to be old and happy. Capturing the energy and revolutionary work in building and shaping this world-famous community, this is a wonderful celebration of how this complex and misunderstood phase of our lives can be as rewarding as any other.
