The Illustrated Life of Sharon Tate

Tom Fontaine became a collector in 1963 at the age of five. He first heard of Sharon Tate after his Dad and friend Del saw Valley of the Dolls in late 1967. When they came home from the movie, the only thing they talked about was actress Sharon Tate, who played Jennifer. As a curious kid, he looked into who Sharon was and walked down to his local drugstore, McCords, to find magazines that Sharon would be in. He also used these to find out about other shows and movies she appeared in. This is how his collection started, and it was a passion that continued for the next several decades.

Tom has put together quite a collection and for the first time, he is offering these incredible artifacts and memories in print. Tom is now sixty-four and felt it was time to give Sharon the honor and respect she deserves, rather than just being known for a headline. He hopes you agree and will enjoy both their journeys.
