About the author

Tanusree Dutta is an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. Prior to this, she has worked at other prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, Rajasthan, and Banaras Hindu University. Dr. Dutta obtained her postgraduate and graduate degrees from Banaras Hindu University and her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. She has research publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals, which have been cited in manuscripts and books of national and international repute. She has also edited volumes on topics such as Consumer Happiness, the Handbook of Happiness, Understanding Happiness, and books on Neuromarketing in India: Understanding the Indian Consumer and on Side Bias. Apart from academics, she has been actively involved in conducting various training programs and consultancy assignments for different companies.
Allen Joshua George is an Assistant Professor in the area of Liberal Arts & Sciences, with a doctorate in Psychology, at the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. His major area of research interest is applied positive psychology, specifically eudaimonic enhancement and the management of hedonic dysregulation through mindfulness-based interventions. He is also keen on adopting interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research methods to explore variables related to happiness and well-being. He developed the intervention, Mindfulness-Based Eudaimonic Enhancement Training (MEET), and tested its effectiveness and efficacy among different populations. Dr. Allen has also been working on time affluence, leisure studies, and meaningful consumption. He has publications in reputed international journals and has acted as a reviewer and guest editor for high-impact international journals. He also has teaching and research experience in systematic reviews and has published several systematic review papers.
