This work was carried out in the south of the state of Amazonas with the aim of evaluating the processing and statistical characteristics of four different Digital Elevation Models of terrain distributed free of charge, in order to indicate which model is most suitable for studies in the region of flat terrain in the south of the state of Amazonas. This is a monograph presented to the Federal University of Amazonas in 2016 to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering.

Graduated in Environmental Engineering from the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). Active researcher in the Agriculture and Environment research group at UFAM. Member of the LABCART-UNIR research group. He has academic experience in the areas of Geoprocessing, PDI, Watershed Delimitation, and assessment of soil and aquifer fragility.
