This new collection by Geert Reuten presents 21 of his previously published essays on the three volume’s Marx’s Capital, dating from 1991 to 2019.

Reuten’s perceptive essays foreground Marx’s systematic-dialectical method and his monetary value-form analysis. Each essay generally begins with a summary of one of Marx’s texts (a Volume or its Parts or Chapters) followed by an appreciation and, if necessary, a reconstruction. The collection gives readers an overview of each of the three volumes – including their interconnection – as well as a more nuanced understanding of the specific parts of Capital.
