Postcollectivity develops a new research perspective to help us better understand and confront the countless overlapping and interdependent crises of our time.

Based on its authors’ varied approaches to research, this edited volume combines academic and theoretical discourse with social engagement, artistic practice and critical thought. The phenomena described in the book are the result of various crises, disasters, threats, and forms of violence such as wars, refugee crises, and political regimes. Some are caused by the devastating practices of the anthropogenic drive and environmental pollution, while others have emerged as a response to new political, social and cultural changes that we are experiencing due to the rapid development of technology or progressive economic stratification.

Contributors include: Harshavardhan Bhat, Stephen Dersley, Adela Goldbard, Carly E. Gray, Agnieszka Jelewska, Peter H. Kahn, Jr., Michä Krawczak, Grant Leuning, Ania Malinowska, Anna Nacher, Andrzej W. Nowak, Julian Reid, Pepe Rojo, Sarena Sabine, Jens Schröter, Jan Stasie¿ko and Brett Zehner.
