Nowadays, in order for a company to remain competitive against its competitors, the quest to reduce the costs of its products has become the main objective. To this end, process optimisation has been the way to achieve these goals. This paper proposes the implementation of an industrial process management system. The PDCA method (Plan, Do, Check, Action). It is an exploratory study using action research in a case study carried out in a clothing company. The theoretical basis of the PDCA method and the quality tools used in the process (Cause and Effect Diagram, Pareto Analysis, 5W and 2H), as well as the concepts of Just in Time, Lead Time and Rapid Tool Change, were the sources of information used for the theoretical foundation. For the case study, primary and secondary data from the process of implementing the method in the study organisation was researched. The work reports important results achieved with the implementation of the process optimisation method.
