Bioceramic materials are widely used in endodontics due to their exceptional biocompatibility, bioactivity, and ability to bond with dentinal structures. These materials are used in root canal sealing, perforation repair, apexification, pulp capping, and regenerative endodontics. Bioceramic-based sealers offer superior sealing ability, minimizing microleakage and enhancing long-term treatment success. Despite these advantages, bioceramic materials have limitations, including long setting times, brittleness, and high costs. Handling challenges also require clinicians to adapt their techniques. Ongoing research continues to improve these materials, ensuring their increasing role in enhancing the success and predictability of modern endodontic treatments.
