In January 2025, the Republic of Belarus assumed the chairmanship of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for the third time. In its address on this presidency of this international organization in 2025, the Belarusian side identified nine main priorities that should be in the focus of common attention this year and the consistent implementation of which will contribute to the further development of Eurasian integration and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation: technological potential and cooperation; food security; common transport space and logistics; level playing field and transparent competition; protection of the domestic market. For reference: in 2024 the Union will be ten years old. Over these years, the combined gross domestic product of the Eurasian Five countries has grown by 12.5 percent. Mutual trade within the union has doubled over this period, while trade with third countries has increased by more than 60 percent. How will the Belarusian side promote integration ideas in the EAEU? This is the subject of this paper.
