The main objective of this work was to compare diffuse spectroradiometry with digital images for discriminating nitrogen doses in beans. The specific objectives were to propose vectors of vegetation indices extracted from digital images captured by a digital camera using different filters (720nm IR, 850nm IR and UV-IR cut) and compared with the indices obtained using a spectroradiometer; to evaluate the use of the indices alone in the adjustment of linear models for discriminating between nitrogen levels in the bean crop, as well as their relationship with production components, in addition to establishing the spectral behaviour of the bean crop to different doses of nitrogen applied during its development.
