Rapid changes in the education sector have given rise to stringent testing procedures to assess students' knowledge. The question of how to manage students' test anxiety and academic stress must therefore be answered. EI is seen as one of the strengths that equips students to cope with exam anxiety by improving their ability to cope with academic stress. Moreover, EI can be enhanced if it is taught in the right way. In today's highly competitive world, students face a variety of problems including exam stress, anxiety, relationship problems, aggression and violence.... EI, through its ability to manage emotions, plays an important role not only in stress management, but also in socialization and conflict management.It is recommended that an EI training program be integrated into high school and university curricula. It is also recommended that the EPS reform in particular, and Tunisian education policy in general, be reviewed.
