Scientific competence favors the application of knowledge, emphasizing the different spheres involved in professional activity, with main emphasis on the epistemological, methodological, technical and social dimensions. This requires the design and implementation of instruments for research work and the establishment of ways of communication, interaction and collaboration between researchers, groups and institutions, which not only favor the obtaining of high impact results but also the visibility of researchers and institutions. The formation of scientific competencies is an intentional process that the university must structure at all levels, in order to contribute to the technical and scientific development of a country, based on the activity of researchers, groups and/or institutions, which is why it is a topic of great importance at the present time.
