About the author
Dr. Bharti Mangla is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), New Delhi. She also held the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the DPSRU Innovation and Incubation Foundation. With a doctorate in Pharmaceutics from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, Dr. Mangla has a distinguished academic background, having received gold medals at both the undergraduate (B. Pharmacy) and postgraduate (M. Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics) levels from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. With over eight years of academic and research experience, Dr. Mangla has made significant contributions to formulation development, particularly for diseases such as skin cancer, breast cancer, arthritis, wound healing, and diabetes. She has successfully developed various nanoformulations using different anticancer drugs, specifically targeting skin and breast cancer. Dr. Mangla has filed three patents, authored two international books, contributed five book chapters, and published over 35 international papers in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Mangla has been honored with several national awards, including recognition for publishing in high-impact journals and for her outstanding performance in poster and oral presentations at conferences.
Prof. Kanchan Kohli is a distinguished academician with a B.Pharmacy and M.Pharmacy from Delhi University and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Jamia Hamdard. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Gurugram University, Dr. Kohli brings 37 years of combined teaching and research experience, having held positions such as Lecturer, Reader, Senior Lecturer, Professor, and Deputy Director at the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Dr. Kohli has also served as Director of Research & Publication and was a former Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutics, Jamia Hamdard. Throughout their career, Dr. Kohli has guided 40 Ph.D. and M. Pharm students and has published 270 papers in peer-reviewed journals. Her consultancy work with prominent industries such as Alkem, Patanjali, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, and Amway, along with a submitted BIRAC project in collaboration with the Bio-NEST NIPER-Guwahati Incubation Centre, underscores her contribution to applied research. She has received several prestigious awards, including the UGC Research Award in 2002 and the IPA-ACG SCITECH Innovation Award in 2017. In addition, Dr. Kohli holds 20 international and Indian patents.
