Kunstautonomie - Positionen einer Kontroverse

In Gesellschaft und Kunstpraxis wird die seit der Moderne verbindliche Idee ihrer Autonomie zunehmend kritisch diskutiert. Wortgewaltige Verabschiedungen der Autonomie stehen ebenso für diese Entwicklungen wie die vergangene documenta fifteen, die sich kollaborative politische Interventionen auf die Fahnen geschrieben hat. Die Beiträger*innen bieten Orientierung in diesem unübersichtlichen Diskursfeld - nicht zuletzt, indem sie zeigen, dass die Alternative zwischen der Verteidigung der Autonomie der Kunst und ihrer Verabschiedung unvollständig ist.
