Kunstautonomie - Positionen zu einer Kontroverse

In Gesellschaft und Kunstpraxis wird die seit der Moderne verbindliche Idee der Kunstautonomie zunehmend kritisch eingeschätzt. Diskursive Verabschiedungen der Autonomie stehen ebenso für diese Entwicklung wie die vergangene documenta fifteen, die die kollaborative politische und ökonomische Transformation der Gesellschaft zum Programm erhob. Die Beiträger*innen bieten Orientierung in diesem unübersichtlichen Diskursfeld - nicht zuletzt indem sie zeigen, dass die Alternative zwischen der Verteidigung der Kunstautonomie und ihrer Verabschiedung unvollständig ist.
