About the author










Dr. Louise J. Goddard is an organizational psychologist, a.k.a. an occupational
psychologist, and an expert on organizational leadership and learning, a
motivational speaker and a performance coach. Her pioneering techniques in
neuro-linguistic programming, hypnosis, and training of the same have been
featured in national newspapers across Canada. A resident of Ontario, Canada
at the time of this publication, Louise was born in Ottawa, Canada, but grew
up and was educated in England. She is passionate about helping people to
achieve authentic self-confidence, inner security and tranquillity. Drawing on
her Doctoral studies and her Master's in business, she enjoys teaching and
encouraging those in leadership positions to create a culture of psychological
safety, and to foster growth, collaboration, and empowerment of team
members. In recent years, she has created and led wellness initiatives for
the Federal Government of Canada with hundreds of attendees from across
Canada, which included topics such as negative stress, vicarious trauma, and
mental resilience. A Doctor of Education in Leadership, specializing in
Organizational Psychology, Louise's research concerned the detrimental
cognitive impact of negative workplace stress - specifically on our working
memory and decision-making function.
