In the process of teaching and learning, a teacher and his or her students talk to each other. This interaction can be shown, for example, by giving emotional feedback to students who say the right thing. This study looked into how feedback from the teacher in speaking class affects students' academic confidence. Therefore, in a mixed-method design study, the researcher, in the quantitative phase, divided the Iraqi EFL learners into two groups of 30 students.
