The book addresses the concern for sustainability in the business environment from the social, environmental and economic perspectives. The study was applied to a financial institution to check whether its strategies are geared towards organizational sustainability and how the institution's competency-based management has its individual competency actions geared towards sustainability. The results show that the financial institution has programs aimed at the environmental, social and economic perspectives and addresses the context of sustainability in its Mission, Vision and Values. Its strategy is results-oriented, in which the value "uniqueness" is considered a resource that generates competitive advantage and the other values: ethics, efficiency, public spirit and sustainability are considered competitive parity resources. The study also aims to add information to the business community about sustainable strategies and the theme of competencies for sustainability as a form of theoretical and practical integration.
