Most of the exercises and problems proposed in this document come directly from archives of exam subjects built up over the years. It is designed as a basic document, useful for all those who need to understand the ceramic raw material, as well as their ceramic properties. Most of the problems proposed have a practical aspect. About the author










Chaouki SADIK is a professor in Hassan II University of Casablanca, Morocco. In 2014, He joined the Physical Chemistry, Materials and Catalysis Laboratory (LCPMC), as a researcher. Since 2021, he became the head of the Geomaterials and Materials for Energy team. His main research topic concerns the characterization of industrial rocks and minerals.
