About the author
Dr. S. Vijayalakshmi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Data Science at Christ University, India. She has more than 20 years of teaching experience. Her research areas are image processing and the Internet of Things (IoT). Dr. Vijayalakshmi received her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in 1995 and her Master’s in Computer Applications in 1998 from Bharathidasan University. She was awarded a Ph.D. in 2014 by Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal. She has contributed papers to numerous international journals and conferences, and has authored and edited various books and chapters on technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, deep learning, big data, and blockchain. Dr. Vijayalakshmi has also contributed to numerous patents in smart robotics, smart assistive devices for visually impaired individuals, mobile applications for managing road accidents, and swift cane juicers. She is a member of many academic bodies, including ACM, IFERP, and IAENG.
Dr. J. Lekha is an Associate Professor in the Department of Data Science at Christ University, with 16 years of teaching and 12 years of research experience. She received an MSc from the Government Arts College, an MPhil from the VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science, and her Ph.D. from the Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women. Her research areas include data mining and network security. Dr. Lekha has published over 40 research articles in international journals and conference proceedings and has two patents. She is a member of several professional bodies, including the ACM, IAENG, IRED, and ICSSR, and serves as a reviewer for the journal Measurement and Control.
Dr. Lija Jacob is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Data Science at Christ University. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Master’s of Computer Application (MCA), and her Doctorate in Computer Science from Bharathiar University. She also received an MPhil from Madurai Kamaraj University. Dr. Jacob has over 19 years of teaching experience and eight years of research experience. Her research interests include computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning. She has secured funding from state and national bodies for her research projects and faculty development program. She has published over 20 papers in international journals and conference proceedings and filed four patents.
Dr. Savita Dahiya is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering & Technology, Maharishi University of Information Technology. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hindu Girls College and a Master of Computer Applications degree from SBIT College. She qualified for the UGC-NET JRF and received her Ph.D. from the School of Computing Science and Engineering at Galgotias University. She has published numerous research papers in international and national conference proceedings and journals, contributed to several book chapters, and serves on various academic committees.
Dr. R. Gunavathi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Data Science at Christ University, India. She has 24 years of teaching experience, including serving as the Head of the Department for MCA at Sree Saraswathi Thyagaraja College, Pollachi. Her research interests encompass advanced networking, AI, and data science. Notably, she has successfully supervised five Ph.D. and 15 M.Phil. students. Her contributions to academia are significant, with numerous articles published in international journals. Her scholarly engagements include presenting research papers at various national and international conferences. She has also organized seven national-level seminars and conferences, as well as four symposia. Beyond academia, she has generously shared her expertise by offering guest lectures and conducting workshops for diverse colleges, fostering knowledge dissemination and growth. Dr. Gunavathi's dedication to teaching, research, and guiding aspiring scholars demonstrates her profound commitment to the field of computer science.
