The book of " A Ten Million $ Testament " discloses how forgery and perjury are accepted easily in our legal world today. Author Pia Fields records four generations' miserable experiences from a Jewish family. Sydney was born one day after his father died for Spanish Flu. A death and a birth certificate were signed by doctor Philip who risked his life to work in their household. 100 years after, the family's assets were distributed in N.Y courtrooms by five nieces of Sydney's third wife who died before him. In that "will", Sydney's charity was reduced from 4.5 million to fifteen hundred dollars and nothing was left for his children, one of them lives in welfare for mentally ill. Besides fighting for justice Pia fights for a better world, she submits proposals to reduce the government's debts. She recommends simple life and self-reliance for our new generation. She abandons capitalist consumption that creates debts and the competition that cause wars between different social systems. She believes humanity should survive by dealing with green resources but not rely on consumption and production make by capitalist's invisible hand. It is interesting to see how a Chinese lady uses one stone to hit two birds at her seventies.
