This customizable picture book helps parents prepare children for going to church and hearing about their Savior, Jesus!

This interactive book is designed to help parents prepare their children for going to church. Simple, visually appealing illustrations depict common church activities and settings. Each page offers a prompt on one side and a corresponding behavior expectation on the other to show children how they can participate in the worship service. A communication board helps children and parents interact non-verbally with questions and needs.

This unique book is a valuable resource for parents looking to teach young children about going to church. It's also useful for families who want to create a positive and inclusive church experience for neurodivergent children!

(Book comes three-hole punched with plastic clips and packaged in shrink-wrap.)

About the author

Author Madeline Lindke is a mother of two, one of whom is on the autism spectrum. She couldn't find a book to help her young son attend church meaningfully with her, so she decided to co-write one--for her son, other children with special needs, and all young children not used to being in church.

Dr. Rachel Youngblom is a school psychologist and trained in special education. She instructs future teachers at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota.
