A young woman is betrayed and comes close to losing her life as a result. In seeking justice, reliance on the law seems likely to fail so she takes matters into her own hands. The repercussions look destined to destroy her ambitions and emotional wellbeing until a lifeline is offered. That lifeline takes her far from her own comfort zone and leads to a new dilemma: should she seek justice for someone else and can that be done within the law? Her choices could seal her fate, possibly terminally.

James, or Jim by preference, is an ex Naval Captain who has spent much of his life at sea mucking around in ships and boats. He has had a wide variety of roles from operational to training, policy-making and diplomatic, including voluntary work as a firefighter and marine rescue skipper.He has an abiding interest in history, both fact and fiction.
