About the author
Chong-Bum An is a prominent Korean economist dedicated to researching and teaching economics. He served as a research fellow at Daewoo Economic Research Institute and Korea Institute of Public Finance, and as a professor at the University of Seoul and Sungkyunkwan University. He was a member of the 19th National Assembly, overseeing President Park Geun-hye's campaign policies, and served as Senior Secretary for Economic Affairs. Currently, he leads the Policy Evaluation Research Institute.
