The spread of fish diseases (epizootics) and their causes, peculiarities of their causes also sharply differ from the spread and causes of epizootics of animals living directly on land. Ichthyopathology is often considered important in terms of their prevention, i.e. preventive measures against diseases, and it is necessary to have detailed information on the factors directly and indirectly affecting fish life. In recent decades with the use of artificial feeds and intensive fish farming in fish farms are observed avitaminosis vitamin deficiency and metabolic disorders, as well as the development of some infectious and invasive diseases. Especially in fish farms when using cheap and incomplete feeds there is a level of susceptibility to diseases. The main task of ichthyopathology is to establish the etiology of fish diseases, develop countermeasures and their elimination.
