Polish Pronunciation Guide for Singers presents reliable and accurate Polish lyric diction guidance for English-speaking classical singers who wish to perform Polish repertoire, but who don't know how to read and pronounce Polish. Authors and performers Laura Kafka-Price and Maksymilian Krzak use a particular set of songs, specifically Rymy dzieci¿ce, op. 49 by Karol Szymanowski, to arm singers with the knowledge they need to successfully perform any piece of Polish repertoire. Additionally, the sounds of Polish are reinforced with IPA transcriptions, audio recordings, as well as recordings of the piano accompaniment.
