Knowledge Management as an administrative tool - A case study in the Sector Library of UAST /UFRPE

This book was born out of the perception of the importance of knowledge management in public administration. It is a report on the experience of a university library. The book is based on the idea that knowledge is the main tool for overcoming challenges and improving the quality of services provided in an organization. The reader interested in the subject will realize that Knowledge Management involves a more active people management policy as well as intensive use of Information Technology tools. Finally, they will understand that it is not enough to have knowledge, it must be recorded and shared, which contributes to the improvement of the products and services offered, but above all to the improvement of the professional.
