About the author

Monica Clark-Robinson is passionately in love with the stories that connect us across culture, race, and age. She believes the right story, at the right time, can change a person's life. Her second book, Standing on Her Shoulders (Orchard Books), was chosen for a Junior Library Guild Gold Choice Award. When not writing, Monica is a professional actor and voice-over artist and loves to cook and garden.
