About the author
Paul S. Davies is Professor of Commercial Law at UCL and a Barrister at Essex Court Chambers. He has written widely in private law, and is also the author of
Accessory Liability (Hart Publishing, 2015; revised paperback edition, 2017), which won the main Inner Temple Book Prize in 2018 and a Peter Birks Prize for Outstanding Legal Scholarship awarded by the Society of Legal Scholars in 2015. In 2020 Paul was awarded a Philip Leverhulme Prize in Law.
Graham Virgo (KC (Hon)) is Professor of English Private Law at the University of Cambridge; Master of Downing College, Cambridge; member of XXIV Old Buildings and a Bencher of Lincoln's Inn. He is the author of several books on private law, including
The Principles of Equity and Trusts (5th ed, 2023, Oxford University Press) and
