An intrepid young man of action, Chase Speedington, is working with his adopted mother, the Queen to search for the truth about his parents when he is confronted once again by the Evil Eisenfaust! Franco is the creator, artist and writer of Patrick the Wolf Boy and AW YEAH COMICS! Franco has worked on The DINO-MIKE book series and comic titles for various Comic companies including critically acclaimed SUPERMAN FAMILY ADVENTURES, YOUNG JUSTICE, BILLY BATSON and the MAGIC of SHAZAM, SUPERPOWERS and the New York Times bestseller, multi Eisner award winning series TINY TITANS for DC COMICS! He has also worked on GRIMISS ISLAND and itty bitty HELLBOY with DARK HORSE COMICS! ENCOUNTER for LionFORGE! His latest work is his original graphic novel THE GHOST, THE OWL from Action Lab Entertainment and SUPERMAN OF SMALLVILLE from DC Comics.
Franco is also a High School teacher.
Franco is a painter and has shown work in galleries and around the country.

Co-creator and artist of the comic series SQUISH AND SQUASH with writer Niall O'Rourke, which is a fun all ages sci-fi/rescue/adventure series from Keenspot Entertainment.
I also contributed to DC Comics' DEADMAN TELLS THE SPOOKY TALES, a graphic novel anthology book written by the one and only Franco (Tiny Titans, Fae and the Moon and lots more).
I love drawing fun, colourful all ages art, with a leaning toward Middle Grade books and Graphic Novels, and have a passion to bring an inviting, vibrant, animated quality to my work. Nothing makes me happier than working on super cool, all ages content that can be enjoyed by everyone! My past clients include DC Comics, UK-based Rebellion (for Monster Fun Magazine), Upper Deck Entertainment, Cryptozoic Entertainment and Perna Studios as well as freelance work on self published/independent comics and books.
As a kid I was lucky to grow up with such a huge amount of awesome books and cartoons which definitely shaped my creativeness as I got older. I was a big fan of cartoons like He-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,C.O.P.S, as well as later shows like The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Adventure Time and sooo many more!
I also loved reading Calvin and Hobbes, Asterix and Tintin before I got into superhero comics from Marvel and DC!
This should give you some idea of my creative sensibilities!
I live in Auckland (the biggest city in New Zealand) with my wife, three kids and our cat named Maverick (named after Tom Cruise's character in the epic 80's movie Top Gun)!
