Follow Lewis and Clark on their expedition through the Midwest and over the Continental Divide to the shores of the Pacific as they explored the land and looked for an easy travel route, aided by the knowledge and support of Indigenous individuals, including Sacagawea. Aligned with the IB PYP, Cambridge Primary, and other key curricula, this book is the perfect support in learning all about the history of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Part of the immersive new DK Super History series, this informative and inclusive book offers young learners the full picture about a key moment in history. It takes a 360-degree look at the expedition, exploring the background and context, key people, the events themselves, and the influence they had on history. The main narrative is supported by different perspectives, primary and secondary sources, infographics, and an engaging graphic novel style story. With specially designed spreads that build skills in historical enquiry and interpretation and make complex events accessible to children, DK Super History: Lewis and Clark Expedition is the ideal companion to history curricula.
