Inklusion als politische Forderung - Über hegemoniale Verschiebungen erziehungswissenschaftlichen Wissens

Die UN-Behindertenrechtskonvention stellt nicht nur für das deutsche Bildungssystem, sondern für die gesamte Gesellschaft eine Herausforderung dar. Da sie das Zusammenleben aller betrifft, sind die Forderungen nach Inklusion explizit politisch zu verstehen. Peter Thomas geht es aber nicht um ein Mehr, sondern um neue Formen der Inklusion, die eine aktive Teilhabe an allen Facetten des kulturellen, ökonomischen und politischen Lebens ermöglichen. Dazu fragt er einerseits nach der Angemessenheit der Kategorie »Behinderung«, andererseits nach den Effekten dieser Adressierung auf die Subjekte - und danach, wer letztlich die politischen Subjekte der Umsetzung der Konvention sein könnten.

Peter Thomas (Dr. phil.) ist Lehrbeauftragter am Institut für Allgemeine Erziehungswissenschaft der Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Theorie der Bildung und Erziehung, kulturwissenschaftliche Bildungsforschung, Politische Philosophie und Demokratietheorie.
