The handbook of Inpatient Endocrinology 2nd Edition is written by experts with vast experience in hospital-based care. It is an easy-to-navigate, concise pocket-sized reference text. It covers updated guidance on new therapeutic agents, revised care pathways, differential diagnosis, investigation, management, follow-up, and transitioning care to the ambulatory setting. Conditions include thyroid dysfunction, calcium disorders, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, hypoglycemia in diabetic and non-diabetic patients, and endocrine disorders in pregnancy. Suggestions for further reading appear with each chapter.
